San Antonio – The University of the Incarnate Word School of Professional Studies earned the #49 spot on the Best Online Bachelor’s Programs by U.S. News and World Report’s 2019 edition of the Top Online Education Program rankings. The school’s engagement score (a measure of student satisfaction and instructor responsiveness) rank was #2. Of a possible engagement score of 100, UIW’s School of Professional Studies earned a 99.

“Online programs at UIW allow our students to combine flexibility and convenience with a learning option that works for their lifestyle,” said Vince Porter, UIW’s dean of the School of Professional Studies. “We are proud to be among the elite universities who are awarded the U.S. News & World Report Best Online Bachelor’s Program distinction."

The Best Online Bachelor's Programs rankings are based on responses to a statistical survey sent by U.S. News to regionally accredited for-profit, private, and public institutions that granted bachelor's degrees. Schools were assessed based on four general categories – engagement, services and technologies, faculty credentials and training, and expert opinion.
