Summer Sessions Offer Accelerated Course Options
Interested in earning course credit during your summer break? Need to catch up on your degree plan to graduate on time or to qualify for readmission to the university? Look no further than the Summer Sessions offered at the University of the Incarnate Word.
What are the Summer Sessions?
Summer Sessions are a way to:
- Earn additional credit hours in a 4-week or 8-week session.
- Catch up on a missed class or finish your prerequisites.
- Take classes online or in person.
- Get one step closer to graduation.
Courses taken through the Summer Sessions may be applied toward needed degree requirements. Check Degree Works and consult with your advisor before registering.
Enrollment is open to full-time or part-time UIW students, as well as community members looking to earn college credit.
Please note: No separate financial aid is available for Summer Sessions. However, students may be able to apply a portion of their fall disbursements toward Summer Sessions tuition. Students are eligible to receive Pell Grants. VA benefits are also available. The UIW Financial Aid Office can answer any related questions.
