Prepare to pass the National Healthcareer Association Exam

The CCMA program offers our students both theoretical and practical training through hands-on experience. The duration of the course is 16 weeks and includes preparation for the certification examination administered by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).

Students may be eligible to take exams to become certified as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) and EKG Technician (CET) after the course is complete.

Curriculum

• Interview patients
• Measure and record vital signs
• Prepare exam rooms
• Clean and sterilize medical equipment
• Administer injections, as well as topical or oral medications
• Perform venipuncture and point-of-care testing
