Academic Advising

Male student in blue hospital scrubs sitting with an Advisor The School of Professional Studies (SPS) strongly believes that academic advising is a pertinent aspect to the continued success of our students as they pursue their academic goals. In order to be able to more effectively serve the needs of our diverse student population, SPS has established an Academic Advising email strictly for questions pertaining to degree plans, course scheduling, course registrations, etc. This email will be monitored by an Academic Advisor who will answer your questions or direct you to a UIW representative in the respective department.

Ongoing advising, especially before registration periods, is important to your success in the program and the elimination of "surprises" at graduation time. It is suggested you see the same advisor each time you need assistance. Please note the telephone number and/or email address of your advisor. Also remember, you are the one who is ultimately responsible for knowing and completing all graduation requirements.

Our goal is to help guide and assist you with the academic aspect of the “family, work, education, and life balance” that our students face on a daily basis.
