Medical Billing and Coding
The Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) training course will prepare you to successfully pass the CBCS examination through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) and directly enter the healthcare field. The CBCS program offers students both theoretical and practical training through hands-on experience. Instruction is provided by an experienced CBCS who is currently in the field of coding. The program includes a well-blended mix of classroom, audio-visual presentation and a shadow experience.

Billing and Coding Specialists have an expansive range of opportunities for employment. The skills learned through the NHA CBCS certification are essential to hospitals, physician offices, surgery centers, nursing homes, dental offices, home healthcare agencies, mental health facilities and even insurance companies and consulting firms.
This 16-week program includes an exam bootcamp and a certification exam (if eligible). There are 15 weeks of lecture (including Saturdays), and one week of exam bootcamp and certification exam.

- Support coding and billing process
- Assign codes for diagnoses and procedures

To maintain a low teacher-to-student ratio, seating is limited. We only accept 20 applicants into this program.
Cost
The total cost of the course is $4,300. Our courses offer financial assistance in Sallie Mae loan, payment plans, Workforce Solutions(contact your nearest Texas Workforce Center) and MyCAA (Military spouses).
